Criteria for admission include:
Admission Application Packet
Five years or more of management or professional experience or the equivalent
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.7 or higher, or a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the last 60 hours
 
Employer’s permission to participate and attend all classes (evidenced by an appropriate signature on your Sponsor’s Agreement Form) or self-nomination if you are an entrepreneur or independent professional
 

Candidates must complete the UALR Executive MBA Program Admission Application and submit supporting documents. Applications and instructions are available from the EMBA office. A personal interview with the admissions committee is also required.

Application Deadlines

Candidates may submit a Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) score to support their application. The GMAT is not required for admission; however, in some instances the Admissions Committee will ask candidates to take the GMAT to support an application that is weak in some areas.

As a participant in the Executive MBA program, you must have a laptop computer and Internet
access. The courses require Microsoft Office 2000 for word processing, spreadsheets, and presentations. Elementary knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is expected. Although you'll gain knowledge of Microsoft Power Point over the course of the program, prior experiences with this software is helpful. You will also need an Ethernet 10/100BASE card and connectors compatible with the local area network or a wireless network card (please contact us for wireless requirements).
